"I'm Not Making You Angry Like Before."
Cloud's mother, Fish, had spent years worrying about her son. Like many parents, she had experienced frustration, exhaustion, and moments when she wanted to give up.
After weeks of steady growth—coding, daily exercise, homework, and small victories—something had quietly changed.
One evening, mother and son watched a video together.
They both cried.
After the video, Fish spoke from her heart.
Fish:
Today, Cloud and I watched this video together. We both cried.
I told him that during the past two years, when he was rebellious and made me so upset, there were many times when I wanted to walk away and stop taking care of him.
If only your father had taken a little more responsibility and cared for you a little more.
But your father didn't. I was afraid that if I walked away, you would lose your way. I simply couldn't bear to see you suffer.
Cloud quietly replied:
I'm not making you angry like I used to.
Sometimes, one sentence says everything.
Later, Fish reflected:
All I can say is: my child has become my mirror. Through raising him, I am learning to cultivate myself. It is a lifelong journey of self-cultivation, and its depth has no end.
A child was changing.
A mother was changing too.
Education is often measured by grades, test scores, or programming skills.
But sometimes its deepest impact appears somewhere else:
A child becomes more considerate.
A mother rediscovers hope.
Learning extends beyond the student.
It quietly transforms the whole family.
Learning can rebuild trust within a family.
Through countless small moments of patience, encouragement, persistence, and honest conversation.
Because the greatest outcome of education is not simply a more knowledgeable child—it is stronger, healthier human relationships.
